Down, but still a very powerful tool to spread a message
I have an idea: using a documentary somebody has shot, create a 6 minute film clip that can be embedded onto blogs and web sites. Start a movement to raise an immense amount of awareness by asking people to embed this clips on their blogs, and blog about the issue. Put a message at the end of the clip to get them to sign a petition, and embed into the video information about the people group one is working with.
Send the clip around cyberspace, and encourage others to embed it on their blogs. People sign the petition, and have on your campaign site avenues through which they can further the cause.
