The world is your playground, but also your school. A scholar is not only an elite, but also person whose doors of opportunities have opened as opposed to others, and on top of that, a community leader. I would be honoured to be led by one who serves with humility and knowledge. I have no doubt you are on your way.

I am inspired by the honesty simplicity of feelings and kindness to the hardly seen side of Singapore, like Northlight School.

I am a young Singaporean too but without chances of seeing the world in my lenses. But I am glad people like you make it there and really appreciate the chance. See the world and most importantly, enjoy Stanford!

being a good person: amen to that pooch.

not too long ago i’d have pooh-poohed the idea, dismissed it offhand, like some kindergarten thing. now that so much has happened i’ve grown a respect for goodness and humanity. i also wonder why i didn’t, like you, grow it sooner.

grats on your scholarship… tho it’s not going to mean anything unless you make the best use of it! take care man… and don’t forget to enjoy yourself haha
